   Elixier (ADNOC Linde Industrial Gases Company Ltd.) was incorporated in October 2007 as an operating company with the objective to provide industrial gases to the oil, gas and other industry sectors in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and elsewhere in the United Arab Emirates. The company was established as a joint venture between ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) and The Linde Group with a 51/49% shareholding respectively.

Elixier was established following the directive of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Supreme Petroleum Council to invest in the field of industrial gases and related industries and to build, own and operate industrial gases production units in various locations. From these plants, Elixier shall supply products in gaseous form via pipelines and liquid form via road tanker to the oil, gas & petrochemical companies in the immediate location. In addition, Elixier shall market it's additional capacity to the broader local market (or via export) and shall carry out other related activities in order to further benefit the development of the Company. Today, our major products are gaseous and liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen.

When establishing Elixier, both joint venture partners brought together their core competencies; ADNOC contributed its excellence and expertise as one of the world's leading companies with major oil & gas reserves. ADNOC was established in 1971 to operate in all areas of the oil and gas industry and since then has steadily broadened its activity establishing companies and subsidiaries and creating an integrated oil and gas industry in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Today, ADNOC now has 16 subsidiary companies working in the various fields of the oil, gas and petrochemical industry and Elixier is one of the newest subsidiaries in the Group.
